Lately my skin has been insanely sensitive especially on my arms and legs. To the point where if I scrape against something it will swell up and itch for hours. I'm fairly sure it's stress related as I've had a lot going lately. I just wanted to know if anyone has either had something similar happen to them and if you have, if you had any suggestions as to some relief for the itching and all together discomfort :(
Any feedback would be appreciated!

I would advise to see a doctor. It could be you've developed an allergy to something, which is something that can happen at any age (my mum suddenly became allergic in her 30's).
But there are also conditions which cause it, so it's definitely worth seeing your doc and getting some relief! In the meantime you could switch to a gentler bodywash and clothes detergent! Hang in there.
Also try oatmeal baths.

Have you tried coconut oil..I find it's good for any skin issues
|Omega 3? on Dec 11, 2015 @ 11:28 pm|
I have recently started taking Omega 3 supplements and using argan oil (rub it into your skin directly) and it helps with many different skin issues.
You are likely right, it could be stress because stress does awful things to us. I had a friend who turned out to have a food allergy and her skin was reacting so I would agree with @wonderwhatif and say see a Dr to make sure there is nothing more serious happening.

Thank you! Yes, I definitely should make an appt. But in the mean time I will definitely try the oatmeal baths!

Is this a recent thing? Has this ever happened before? Are there any bumps? Any known allergies? Did any of the above remedies help? Have you used any new products that you think may have caused the increased sensitivity and itching? What products are you using?

coconut oil I agree with @ marta
However double check with your doctor or get a referral to see a dermatologist
