This sounds fantastic Bren; I have lemon water every weekend 1rst thing in the morning & throughout the day. Week days I always seemed to be running too late lol. I find it so refreshing. I do fill mine with lots of ice though. Do you think that there is a reason they say ice free? I will try this recipe this weekend.

I have always loved lemon or lime in my water. But I'm so curious after seeing this picture to try cucumbers. In England they like putting cucumbers in Pimms and I thought that tasted pretty good.
They probably say ice free so that the fruit/veg/herbs will infuse through the water better :)

Ah Bren, you're reading my mind!!! I've been looking at pics of flavoured water lately and have been working up to make some of my own. I love having a pitcher in the fridge during the summer, tastes awesome.

Actually this would be really good for if your doing your juice cleanses! What kinds of combos have you tried? I'm going to grab some cucumbers and a few more lemons today and give this a go. I'm not to interested in trying the mint and basil in it.Id rather just stick with the citrus and veg.

I would really love to try this and feel the freshness so that I would remain fresh through out the day.

I usually just do lemon or cucumber or some sort of combo. I haven't ever tried one with herbs before though, I think a mint one would be awesome!
This is an excellent site for recipes too:

I love putting citrus in my water. Something about the summer makes me do it. So refreshing!

On the weekend I seen a display of mint water at my local Kootenay Market they were selling them for $3 for a small bottle of it!So these flavored waters are getting really popular.I have a yard full of mint...If you plant mint anywhere in your yard be prepared for it to take over.So if you want mint water buy a plant at the garden center the plant will be cheaper then that bottle of water and you can have mint and more mint to make your own.It grows well in pots also.
@Ali- A spa water roundup article would be fascinating!I cant wait.
I tried the cucumber and lemon water and it was so refreshing its defiantly going to be my summer drink.
