I was just reading this article about a study that found that the effects of ice cream on your brain are the same as drugs!
Here is a quote from the article:
"It sets off the pleasure centers of our brain in the same way, but it's also now clear that when you eat a lot of ice cream, you become desensitized to its pleasures—just like you do with drugs"
Which is kind of scary when you think that you just keep eating more and more and more ice cream, like you would start using more and more and more with a drug!
I've just started trying to eat healthier and make some lifestyle changes so this article kind of freaks me out, especially since I LOVE sweets!!!
Do you chicks have sugar cravings or addictions? How do you deal with them? Have any healthy eating tips for me?

I have to have something sweet at least everyday, if not a few times a
day. I know its not good for me, but I'm not over weight so keep eating
my sweets. I really don't believe ice cream is like drugs!! If we were
to do everything we've bin told over the years we'd never eat anything.
Years ago they said peanut butter was really bad for you, now they say
its good for you. How are we suppose to really know. I say as long as
your not over weight, then eat your ice cream, but also make sure you
eat well along with the ice cream. After all we're all going to die of
something sooner or later, it might as well be from a great ice cream cone.LOL
