When I was 20, I lost 60 pounds in about six months. I was kind of trying, but the weight was just coming off. I was constantly hot and had tremors in my hands. It turned out I had a very strong form of hyperthyroidism called Grave's disease. I had to have my thyroid removed and since then I have had a very low metabolism and Have gained back 70 lbs and can't seem to lose any. Any suggestions from those who have lost weight or have thyroid problems?

I had a baby 6 months ago and lost all my baby weight in a month plus an additional 16 pounds a few months later. I only drink water and almond milk and I don't drink alcohol or a lot of junk food. I really think it is the water that helped. I haven't been this small since grade 8!

Last spring I got congratulated because people thought I was pregnant. So I figured then it was time to lose weight. Over the course of the year I have lost almost 40 pounds by adopting a "clean" diet and started running about 5 KM a day. I have never been more in shape in my entire life.

Graves disease runs in my family. I am the only one so far that hasn't been diagnosed with it (yet). But in terms of losing weight with the disease my aunt was diagnosed about 30 years ago and her weight is constantly up and down. She will be really thin then the weight will come back very fast. She recently started counting calories and limiting her calorie intake . She also tries to walk/run once a day for a bit. She has lost a noticeable amount of weight.
Im not sure if she has tried this method or not before, but thats what she is doing now and its working.

J'ai déjà perdu 10 livres seulement en coupant les biscuits au repas pendant 1½ mois.
|trying to go back on track on Mar 01, 2016 @ 09:45 am|
5 years a go a was at 215 lbs.. I went down to 155 in 3 month.. I did ideal protein I don't recommend this kind of diet.. well I gain 30 lbs in two years.. I was stable due to a plateau at 175 lbs during 1 maybe 2 years.. this years I try pretty hard to get back on track.. I went back to 155 lbs before Christmas and du to a lot of food (too much food) and no workout, I gain again 15 lbs.. now I'm trying to lose that 15 lbs again and finaly get my final goal 135 lbs
this is pretty frustrating to see the weight up and down like this :(

Over 50 with my first pregnancy. Now I manage to maintain my original 110 pounds without really trying; I'm satisfied.
|100 Lbs on Mar 01, 2016 @ 10:00 am|
I started in June 2015 and my goal was to loose 100 pounds in a year. It's March and I've lost somewhere around 65 pounds (maybe more I don't know how heavy I was to start). I am feeling the pressure from letting the holidays drag on a little too long but I am on track to be (pretty much) at my goal.
I count macros (iifym) and workout 5 days a week for 1hr . I am finally feeling like I have lost a decent amount of weight and starting to appreciate the way I look, I also am really enjoying how much more athletic I feel from working out. It has been a mind/body transformation working at it for so long and seeing results slowly build up.
