I as wondering if you would have any favorite and effective workout videos that you would like to recommend. I work out at home and like having a variety of exercises that I can switch on a regular basis.
Here are a few workout videos that I've been loving recently (You can find these on Youtube):
- Core Rhythms (Great if you're looking to lose weight and strengthen your core muscles)
- Fitness Blender (A variety of cardio and strength training exercises)
- Piloxing/Viveca Jensen (Mix of pilates and kickboxing)

I've tried most of her workout videos and they keep my body in shape. There are three levels that you work towards. Offers you a great workout with visible results. You can choose whichever workout is best for you and you will get the results you are searching for. Easy to follow workouts with an easy and harder option. I highly recommend Jillian Michaels.
If you want something more intense then there is always P90X or Insanity. I've done P90X and it works. Some friends have done Insanity and they love it.
Have an amazing workout and remember that slow and steady wins the race. Always make it enjoyable so that you stick to it. Variety is the spice of life; especially when working out.
Take care! Ciao Bella! ;-)

I use my Wii to exercise. I'm looking to find the original sports game that came with it, because the boxing, baseball and tennis are a great workout. I also like the Just Dance game...gets me sweating all the time. I've bought the Zumba game...but I'm not sure if I'm coordinated enough for it.

Good morning OceanSunrise! I totally forgot about Jillian Michaels, but I had been wanting to try out her workouts for the longest time. Thanks for reminding me! She definitely is someone who knows how to train you and help get results. I'll certainly be looking into this and I'm glad there are intensity options to choose from.
I have the P90X workout program but after trying it out, it was too intense for my body, but I'm glad you mentioned it for others who might find it right for them.
Have a great week! Ciao!!

Good morning jcb75! I don't have the Wii workout "game" but I do have the original sports games. This is a great option for those in between days when you want to take a break from regular workouts and still burn some calories. Thanks for the great idea! Have an amazing week!

Hi Sandra! I hope you're having a great day.
P90X isn't for everyone, especially if you're new to working out or need low impact exercises. What I usually do is watch the workout video before attempting it to make sure I'll be able to complete it.
I'm glad we're all contributing our ideas and inspiring each other to live a healthy lifestyle!

That is one thing I have never tried, and I don't say I ever will now.You have to be in half decent shape for those videos and I think with a much younger age than I .I wouldn't be able to if I wanted because of my Back problems.I have two buldging Discs and I have to watch my every move.I see some pretty good ones on TV where the people doing some pretty good Dance moves to get in shape. If I were to use videos for exercise I would pick the Dancing type.

Hi Angelwingsx2! From the way you're describing yourself, you may benefit from low impact exercises, however, consult with your doctor to make sure it's right for you. Yoga might also be a good option.
Core Rhythms is a dance-based workout, but watch the entire video to figure out if you will be able to attempt the workout.

Gym memberships can be pricey, or on those rainy days you just can't make it to the gym, Youtube is a good thing to turn to!
The best channel I have come across is Blogilates. Casey has over 2 million subscribers for a reason! They're fun videos tuned to upbeat music that helps the sessions feel a little less hard.
