Am I pregnant?

Hi all! So last Friday, Saturday and Sunday my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex and he came inside me four times, twice on one of the days. I had been on a break from my pills about 4 days before that (stupidly). My period was due about 3 days ago and I've had no signs of pms at all. My boyfriend came inside me bareback last nugh. What are my chances of being pregnant? Help!

Hi! Side note to my post! (OP here) there was a little cramping for a few seconds. Not sure what to make of that

they say about 3 months for the birth control to totally wear off. I would take a pregnancy test to check. But there are some other signs like morning sickness. Sometimes when you're off your pill your periods are irregular, since your body had depended on it for so long. But if you had only been off of the birth control for only 4 days I would say that you're fine. The dollar store even has pregnancy tests now

Thanks for the reply :). Even before the four day break I had been really inconsistent with my pills for the past few months . I had my period last month and had been really bad about taking my pills so I had the odd break through bleed.

You are probably okay, but I would definitely take a pregnancy test just to put your mind at ease! Maybe discuss with your doctor another form of BC that you don't have to remember everyday? I know I have issues taking my pill sometimes as well depending on my schedule!

The Internet is NOT a Pregnancy Test! on Mar 24, 2016 @ 01:18 pm

Nor is it an OBGYN. Or your GP.

If you are truly concerned that you may or may not be pregnant, go to the health clinic, your doctor, or a women's clinic and have yourself tested via bloodwork or urine. Home pregnancy tests can be unstable, and are very costly.

Additionally, if you are unprepared for a child, be responsible and respectable with your choices. I'm assuming you are an adult. Act like one.

I'd say yes, you could be pregnant. Maybe or maybe not. Even skipping one pill can be enough to let you become pregnant. I know that within a week of stopping birth control pills, I became pregnant. Take a pregnancy test. There are some super sensitive ones that can tell you within 5 days of becoming pregnant. Good luck.

There is a good chance you could be pregnant. Missing one pill can get you pregnant. All it took was one time for my husband and I and I was pregnant.

There's always a chance for pregnancy, but apart from anything else what you are doing is extremely foolish.

I try not to be judgemental, but there are far worse things than pregnancy. If your boyfriend cheated on you and didn't say or even if he had a past relationship you could easily get an STI such as aids or gonorrhea.

Please use the internet to keep yourself informed and research the dangers of unsafe sex as only YOU can prevent yourself from having these problems or getting pregnant.

I know it feels better without condoms and I know it's tempting, but at the end of the day when something awful happens and you're unprepared, you will only have yourself to blame and be left with regret and worries. Please consider this and take care.

Also see your doctor or local clinic for pregnancy and STI testing, your boyfriend should also have an STI test. If you are both clean of STI's and have an honest close relationship it is possible to do without condoms, but not if you're going to be careless!

Hi OP here. My boyfriend and I have been tested for STI/STDs and we tested negative. We are each others firsts and we're beyond faithful to eachother.

That at least is good to know. I was in a similar situation with my husband that we were both each other's first and are very honest and close.

But if you're not ready for a baby, you still have to be super careful. Good luck!
