We're all anxious to find the answer to that question but have to wait for 4/1/2 to 5 months for the ultrasound to pick it up. However, as we all know the sex is determined on the first day of conception.

So true, it is immediate. Some want to know beforehand some don't. Either way male or female we all look forward to and love the son or the daughter.

my sister and brother in law didn't want to know what they were having. I didn't really agree with it at first because I feel the need to be prepared for absolutely everything but it was such an amazing surprise when they told us they had a little girl!

Where I live when I had my babies you could not find out. They would not tell you. I would of loved to know!

My doctor refused to send me for an ultrasound to check the anatomy, but sent me for others! I was so angry. It wasn't until he sent me for a referral to an OB that I found out.

When my sibling was born my parents didn't find out the gender before the birth. When the baby was born, the doctor said, "Congratulations, its a girl!" And my mom was thrilled. Then a nurse said, "Doctor, turn the baby over." And then my dad was thrilled. My poor brother...
