Did anyone read the coffee and pregnancy article? Basically, it said that it wouldn't hurt so much to drink a cup coffee a day, but the increase consumption of caffeine can increase a woman's chance of having a miscarriage. For those of you who have children, what is your take on this issue? Should it be avoided all together ??
The thing is the article did not mention other forms of caffeine (tea, chocolate) and the effect on baby...

I dunno, personally I probably wouldn't drink coffee at all...then again I don't have a coffee a day so I probably wouldn't find it hard to not drink it at all. I am sure most forms of caffeine aren't that great for the baby. My guess is that coffee is mentioned because the people that drink coffee normally drink it daily etc.

I don't drink coffee at all, one cup of Tim Hortons coffee (weak - so I hear) will send my bouncing up the walls)

Yes I have been known to have one french vanilla a week and I don't even know if that really counts as coffee. I never got into coffee in University and never started after so I guess why start now!

I find that coffee smells so good but can taste real bad. Caffeine makes me jittery!
Though I do drink green tea on a regular basis. Green and Chamomile Mint tea...
Green tea has a but of caffeine. And Camomile is not recommended for the morning because it will put you right back to sleep! I like to have that a few hours before bed time!
