My mum didn't have one and I don't plan to if I can hold out, but no judgement as you never know until you're in that situation how painful it will be.

Yes I got one and it didn't work the they tried again and it didn't work again so i was going to give birth naturally and ended up having to get a c section after 18 hours of labour!

Had the epidural and it worked great

Had a shot of morphine with my first(I was worried about some of the side effects of an epidural). Wanted ANYTHING they'd give me with my second but she came too fast, so there was no time for anything. Just about had her in the car. Haha.
Honestly, I didn't find my first labor as painful as id expected it to be. Obviously it hurt, but it wasn't as unbearable as id anticipated by far.

My best friend had an epidural her first time around and found pushing difficult since she couldn't feel anything down there, muscles included. She also got a bad headache that lasted a few days. Of course that does not happen to everyone. But, with her second she had nothing and found she felt waaaaay better afterwards. And recovered quicker. But, everyone is different and reacts differently.

After having to be induced, I had the epidural but it did not work. I heard that being induced is worst since it provokes labor. OMG I think it must be true. Therefore I ended up having a natural birth.

IS provoking labor. It is an artificial means of bringing labor on.

Everyone's different. only when the time comes you will know what you want. Epi was my way and I didt regret. I could never do anything thing that.

Oh heck yeah got an epidural and I don't regret it at all. I would do it 100 times over. It didn't take away from my experience, I feel like I was able to take it all in since the pain was more manageable.
|regarding having children and yes or no to epidural on Jan 28, 2016 @ 07:29 pm|
im a mom of 3 and i had an epidural for my first child i was 21 when i had her and was really scared so i askd for one and after that i started having problems with my back hurting when i was bent over for to long and when it came to my second i held off on it and i found when i had my second daughter narural i felt alot better then the first time and then came my son and i had him completely natural and still felt good after so my advise is try to hold off ladys as long as you can and if you can yes it hurts like crazy for some women but in the end when you look into your newborn babies eye you start to think it was well worth the pain..
