Fussy Baby Personality

on Mar 18, 2016 @ 09:50 pm

Anyone else have babies that just have a fussy personality? Our baby cries a LOT but he does have 1/2 hour of happy time here and there if he is fully fed and just napped. I think he is just not a content baby and likes to cry but my mother in law is convinced there is something wrong with him...

My baby cried all day and night. He had silent reflux we found out and I cut out dairy because I was nursing and she completely changed. She is so happy now!!

Hmm okay, I don't think its that though because he will have his happy times for up to an hour and even when he screams if you do the right thing like sing the right song in the right way he will be happy while you do it. Even the midwife said he is a fussy, picky little guy. I am willing to try anything though. I am also nursing and plan to TRY cutting out more sugar starting today... Wish me luck as I have a HUGE sweet tooth.

My first was colicky but my second was honestly just kind of stubborn and hard to please for the first while. Some babies are that way and it's just how they are. Nothing is wrong with them. If you're concerned, see the doctor. But I feel like as moms, we know our babies and their little personalities and quirks.

My daughter is a very stubborn one and has demonstrated that very early on. Feisty since she was just months old. If it's not anything physical, it most definitely can be personality/temperament.
