Period is 3 months late

So I've always been sensitive to having my period. It wasn't always the same time each month but I definitely always had one and sometimes id have it twice in a month if someone else started theirs It would kick start mine. But it is 3 months late, I've taken 3 pregnancy tests now. Two were at home tests one at 4 weeks late and the other at 6. And this morning I went in to planned parenthood and they did their pea test and again it was negative. Im just trying to rule out everything I understand it could be something besides pregnancy. But I used to smoke pot and drink a lot and ive done neither except for maybe once these past 3 months. My stress level has honestly decreased since then. I moved to a new town and got a good job things are good so I don't see how it could be stress. I've also gone up about size and a half in pants but haven't changed my diet and I've been doing more exercise with my new job but again the exercise started at 2 months late so it didn't cause it. I know the wait wouldn't be from pregnancy its too soon for that. I honestly just have no idea what's causing it. Besides the weight im the healthiest I've ever been. no drugs no alcohol and im not stressed out.

go to the Doctor on Jan 08, 2014 @ 04:12 pm

At this point I would strongly suggest you go see a gynecologist who can help you rule out something more serious. If you are as healthy as you say you are, 3 months is a bit on the long side to be without your period.

I apologize if my comments sound scary, but just remember: the sooner you find out what is going on (or not!) the sooner you can do something about it - ie. treatment or lifestyle change.

No I agree. I went in to immediate care today and they did a vaginal ultrasound and a blood and urine test. they said everything looked good that I was healthy and the doctor said they didn't know what was going on. he suggested I see a primary care doctor and get a full work up to see if its hormonal but he said the I wasn't pregnant and that the cysts that I did have weren't out of the ordinary idk what its is.... im going to make an appointment with a doctor tomorrow but they said it would be a month out till they saw me.
