|Good for some structure, but some downsides on Oct 23, 2015 @ 11:38 pm|
We took our baby at 8 months and it was good to get us in the habit of bringing him to the pool, but in retrospect, I would wait until my baby could walk/stand if I had to do it again. Both of us needed to be there because it was too hard to try to change the baby and also change yourself at the same time, particularly if they're really young.

My baby had 6 months when he began his classes. Once a week for 2 months. Since then I've never been able to find a pool to sign up for swimming classes. It's always full :( He's 17 months now.
