Diaper Rash on Dec 16, 2015 @ 06:51 pm
When my boys were in diapers and got diaper rash I used Aloe Vera or Penaten cream. Both worked well.
Sudocreme on Dec 16, 2015 @ 07:28 pm
My mum swears by Sudocreme! It lasts ages and says right on the tub it's great for diaper rash!
Isles Paste on Dec 16, 2015 @ 09:39 pm
A friend told me about Isles Paste and it works wonders! It's a higher concentrate of zinc than Penaten, abd it's really thick. Comes in a big bottle and will run you about $15 but I've had mine for 3 months and it's still mostly full.
You can find it at pharmacies in the first aid section!
Lard on Dec 16, 2015 @ 11:39 pm
Yes use cooking lard.. It sounds crazy but I used it on my kids when they were little with the advice from my mother who birthed 11 children.
Penaten cream on Dec 17, 2015 @ 12:54 am
Penaten cream has been around for a long time and is still the best to use on a daily basis :)

Sudocreme. After I gave birth to my oldest(now 11) I was given a small sample of it. He never got a rash while I used it, until I ran out and used another name brand cream which was sticky (and totally sucks trying to wash off the wall when little fingers get a hold of it).

When my boys, I have 2 grown ones. I also was also in child care for 25 years and I tried may different brands but the one that worked the best on all of the bottoms I changed and I always came back to was Penaten. It is easy and it works fast and well. No matter what other brands I tried it was always the best. Best of luck hope this helps!

I use Vaseline during the day and Life Brand zinc cream at night or if her skin is a bit red. Hasn't had a diaper rash yet and she's 22 months.
