My sweet daughter crawled from about nine months until two days after turning One.. She then began to walk. My handsome son, he literally skipped the crawling stage and just started walking at ten months.

My son started to scoot on his butt around 7-8 months and never really crawled. And he started walking at 13 months.

My boys are 22 and 19 now, so I really don't remember how old they were when they crawled, but both were walking before they were a year. All babies are different at doing every thing. My first son started to talk early, just a few words, but than he stopped and wouldn't talk until he was past two! Our other son started talking around a year and a half and still hasn't shut up.LOL When he started he'd come out with these big words and use them in the right contents, we didn't know where he was getting it from. It was like he swallowed a dictionary! It was the funniest thing to hear him talking like that. Oh and for some reason he always said the last word in his sentence twice. We started calling him Lukie two times because of it. He did that for the longest time, than just stopped one day, but he still sounds like he swallowed a dictionary. LOL If your worried, don't be, like I said every baby is different and they'll do every thing in their own time.

Thanks for your cute stories. My little girl is 6 months and just started sitting on her own. Sounds like it may be a little while yet before she crawls:)She is already growing up too fast!

Every child is different. My boy starting crawling at 8 months and now at 8 1/2 months he is holding to furniture and standing up on his own for a few minutes. . It's going way to fast lol. Enjoy every moment. :)

All before age one. It really doesn't matter at what age as long as they are not forced. I have seen that with some parents. It's best to let them do it on their own A little assistance is good but not to be too demanding. It is in the same category as toilet training; each child is different and grows in different stages.
