Haven't seen it either on Apr 23, 2015 @ 12:06 pm

I read the book, and was told the film is like it but still not as good.
I lost interest in it.

50 Shades of Abuse on Apr 24, 2015 @ 09:36 pm

50 Shades of Grey does not portray a healthy BDSM relationship. It portrays emotional abuse masquerading as BDSM. There are things that the guy does in the book that have angered so many people, including myself, because they are the pure definition of an abusive relationship, but people have blinders on. Even the actors themselves have said blatantly in interviews that the roles were emotionally disturbing and there were parts that they almost couldn't handle.

There's a joke about 50 Shades of Grey that defines it perfectly:

"50 Shades of Grey is only romantic because the guy is a hot billionaire. If he was living in a trailer it would be a Criminal Minds episode."

I couldn't get through the book (found it boring, repetitive) so I'm not gonna watch the movie.

I enjoyed the books! But the movie was a huge disappointment. If you know someone that owns it borrow it, it's not worth the money. They really could have done better on filming!

Yes, watch it! on May 14, 2015 @ 09:45 am

I read all of the books and while an easy read, I found that the writing was very amateurish. That being said, I actually thought they did a fantastic job of making this book into a movie. It followed the storyline quite closely and was well cast. Perhaps it was because I didn't watch the movie until more than a year after reading the book, but I was honestly pleasantly surprised by the movie and would recommend it for laid back entertainment a rainy day.

I think I felt there was way too much hype for it. I didnt feel it at all and wasnt impressed at all. Was disspointed that Charlie Hunnam rejected playing Christian! The book is FAR better than the movie is, I hope the next movie has a higher budget!

I haven't watched it and I have had no interest in watching it or reading the book. I heard that the movie was terrible and a lot of people walked out.

I read the books and I also found that they were repetitive and got boring quick. As soon as a movie comes out that I've read the book to I have to watch it just to compare and this is definitely one of the most accurate book-to-movie I have seen which is an A in my books!
