Most of you will not like this but...... Nowadays I find there are just very few talented movie stars.Just my opinion. Most are deceased and/or won't be with us much longer. Most of today's actors leave a lot to be desired talent wise.

I was just talking to my mom about this the other day as we watched a few movies together. I love actors who immerse themselves into their character like Meryl Streep does. She is so talented and versatile and she makes the character she plays so believable that you forget she's Meryl Streep. I think that's what's missing in a lot of the young actors of today.

There are still a lot of older actors around who are very talented and many young up and comers who's talent has yet to be seen.
For example Jackie Early Haley who plays Rorscach in Watchmen is incredible. Viggo Mortenson is a chameleon and likewise for Michael Fassbender who can fit many roles and personalities.
The young guy from American Horror Story, Evan Peters, definitely has some acting chops. Leo is still around and acting up a storm.
John Bogeya from Star Wars does an incredible American accent (didn't even know he was British), but I'd love to see him in more before I decide.
Hollywood's always been a bit shallow full of fluffy useless actors as well as good ones, but before less movies got made, now there's more of each. The market is just oversatured with more types of movies and actors, I think.
Am a huge movie fan. Oh, almost forgot, while I don't like her other work, Rooney Mara had incredible presence in Dragon Tattoo.
