I saw the first two and found them really fun, but I never read the books!

I saw the trailer on Ellen and it seems to be a very good movie. I liked the movie better than the books, so I look forward to watching this next part.

I couldn't finish the last book in the series (which is about her being a widow instead of being divorced). Either way I kind of wished it ended at happily ever after with Mark. In any case I'm holding out hope that the newest film will be a happily ever after anyway. Up until I met my husband I always felt exactly like Bridget. I think that's what makes her character so likeable and relatable to many singletons in their 30's. I could watch the movies and read the books over and over again - as I've already done :)

Every holiday season I watch the movie and have a good 'ol laugh. Even though our lives are totally different, there is something universally 'girl' about her. I read the first book and thought the movie was way better... so I never read the others. To me the 'real Bridget' is the one on the screen

I love the Bridget Jones films too but feel conflicted about this third movie. Bridget is supposed to be with Mark, and throwing someone new into the mix just seems to be taking away from a good thing.
I'm also not sure about the way Bridget looks in the third movie - the Bridget Jones character is supposed to be more like a size 10-12, I thought. I am still excited to see the movie, I was just a bit surprised at the content!
