Michaels is about the only store we have in Thunder Bay. I like it so much variety.

You can always Google search Michaels coupons...they always have either 40 or 50% off, and you can use it right from your phone too.

The best place for me to buy craft tools (jewelry making) is Michaels, and they have that 50% coupon every other week so I'd never buy anything without it. Princess Auto is good for soldering supplies. But surprisingly the best store to buy non-tool items is Dollar Tree. Seed beads are in huge packages and many different colours, and the findings (clasps, chain, earring wire, jump rings) are a steal at $1.25 compared to $6 at Michaels. Ooh, and I like the hunt so sometimes I can get amazing things thrifted or at garage sales... picked up a metal punch (heavy duty) for a quarter and had been eyeing one at Michaels for $20-30.

Thanks for all the advice, ladies. Sadly no dollar tree near me, but I've managed to get some things at Dollarama!
