What do you consider to be the best drive-in theatre in Ontario?

We used to go to the one in Oakville ON. Loved it... Especially the 3-movie marathons. Its the only reason I wear PJs out of the house.

Since we moved I don't think there is one near-by... it would have to be a significant drive for us.

Found this when I was looking for near-by drive-ins. It lists by province

There are 2 Drive-In Movie Theatres that I have been to within a 40 drive of home.

The first is my favourite Lindsey Twin Drive-In Theatre located at 229 Pigeon Lake Road Lindsay, Ont which has a screen at each end of the parking lot. It shows 2 movies on each screen every night and on long weekends has a dusk to dawn. ( shows four movies)

The second is Port Hope Drive-In Theatre located at 2141 Theatre Rd South Cobourg.

Bring you own snacks and drinks as the concession stand is limited and expensive. Children and dogs are also welcome on leashes.

Lastly this time of year it gets warm in the vehicle so we bring an old pair of curtain sheers and drape them over the windows and tuck into doors so you can have the windows down. Remember also to bring windex to clean front window to see better.

Have fun!

Stoney Creek, just off of Centennial Parkway after you go up the mountain on Feb 28, 2013 @ 12:59 pm

I love the Stoney Creek drive-in, the screen is HUGE and in the summer there is usually a line up, haha. It is just off of Centennial Parkway after you go up the mountain, before Mud St.

Awe man (or woman), what I wouldn't give for a good drive in theatre where I live. Unfortunately there is one I think in the city (Atlanta) but people are constantly attacked or murdered out there so its a no go for me. :-(
