So..... instead of asking, who is excited for the new and last Harry Potter installment, I will ask- is anyone NOT excited?
Here is a link to the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EC2tmFVNNE
Walking around Toronto, I have actually seen young kids and teens and adults too, lining up and getting ready for the movie. So- what is Harry Potter going to be worth the hype? Will it live up to the expectations or is it completely overrated?
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH on Jul 13, 2011 @ 11:11 am
I dislike the "3d" part of it, but STILL
I don't know what to do with my life after the last movie.?
Also, that scar is so unapparent after the last movie. I completely forgot it was there!?
I .. CAN'T .. WAIT !!! on Jul 13, 2011 @ 11:14 am
I've read each book a few hundred times, have watched all the movies many many times, I just can't wait for the movie to come out!!! I've already planned on watching it at least twice at the theaters. I am sooooooo hyped over this! And sad too that HP series is coming to an end.

I LOVE Harry Potter. It's been going on for half my life (literally) so I don't know how it's going to be without it. After 10 years, I'm still just as excited to see this movie, if not more.

I am excited for this movie. It will have to go out with a BANG! I am expecting big things!
12 hours on Jul 14, 2011 @ 12:06 pm
On one hand I cannot wait to see it. Like I die for it. Like Tammy I've been reading the books and watching the movies for most of my life. On the other hand, after this movie it's over for good. I'm not sure if I'm ready for that.
Anyone else have midnight tickets?
anticipation almost worth more than fulfillment on Jul 14, 2011 @ 12:18 pm
My bro and I both suffer from what we call "post-book depression". It's when you read an amazing book and are almost upset when it's done because it was so good. I get that way about movies sometimes too.
My daughter's rewatching all the earlier movies in anticipation of tonight's (midnight) premiere. She also has her hair in a million braids because she's going to a pre-movie costume party as Hermione (natch).
My hubby was going to take her tonight but he begged off this morning so I guess I get to have his ticket tonight! Excited about the movie, not excited about being out so late on a work night. Does that make me old? ;)
midnight tickets!! on Jul 15, 2011 @ 09:53 am
I watched it with hubby at midnight, by the time we got home it was around 4:30am-ish and had to wake up at 7am to come to work on time. But dude it was SO worth it!!!!! :-D
I'm not gonna say anything. Only that dividing the last part into 2 was a great idea!
I'm going to go again, and again and again...eeeeee...can't wait to go watch it IMAX!!
So jealous on Jul 15, 2011 @ 10:10 am
My boyfriend really wants to watch this with me but he was working late last night and tonight so now I have to wait until at least Saturday. I know this doesn't seem to bad but it's HARRY POTTER!
Also, I heard so many good reviews about the movie already. I'm glad they're going out with a bang. I also thought it was such a cheap way to make more profit with making two movies but apparently the reviews said it's all worth it. I'm so excited!
@Becky - I'm so jealous that you've seen it already! Hope you won't be too tired for work today though. TGIF!
ON COMPLETE HARRY POTTER MODE. on Jul 15, 2011 @ 10:21 am
I can't wait!
I'm contemplating whether or not to bring out my wand, and my cape tonight. HMM!
@Becky, I assume your excitement over the film means I'll have to pack some waterproof mascara? lol!
I'm tired but it was worth it on Jul 15, 2011 @ 10:21 am
I feel like I should be in mourning after finally seeing the end of Harry Potter last night. I wanted to close my eyes and pretend it wasn't over, but that was nearly impossible. Won't lie, I wept like a baby for a large portion of the movie. And I wasn't the only one who shed tears last night (this morning really).
@Becky I'm so glad I'm not the only one who's planning on watching the imax version as well.
