So i love to watch movies and t.v shows on-line but my boyfriend wont. I have tried to watch movies with him and he falls asleep. He barley watches t.v.
|Why does this bother you? on Sep 03, 2013 @ 05:19 pm|
I'm not trying to be snarky, but I'm wondering why this is a problem for you? Most of us have the exact opposite problem that our men spend all their time in front of the tube. I say you're lucky!
Of course, the next question would be how DOES he spend his off-time? Is he spending it with you? Doing something active or productive? If the answer to both is "no" then you have a different problem, but if it the answer is yes, then I think most of us will envy you!

maybe he doesn't like "type" of movies you watch? or does he not watch tv in general? maybe he's just tired from work?

As a huge movie junkie I can relate, I had a boyfriend once who, while he enjoyed TV/movies, was always so tired from work he would sleep through them. Even at the theatre, within a few minutes he'd be snoring away. Not much fun.
Maybe it will be good for you, get out of the house and do fun things more often, but if you can't give up your cinema maybe just watch by yourself or with your friends.
If you really like him, don't let something so trivial ruin the relationship!

Try to find other activities you can do with him and either watch your shows by yourself (could be good because no one will interrupt during the good parts) OR make a tv/movie night with your girlfriends... If you have shows they love too make it a tradition to watch them together like once a week or something... get some wine (or whatever your drink) and enjoy the shows together... before I moved out of town my friends and I had what we called trashy TV night... we would get together once a week and watch all the dumb shows that our bfs didn't like... it was so much fun and we looked forward to it every week.

Maybe he just gets tired watching a movie on a small screen it's quite possible. My eyes always get tired when I watch a movie on-line.There could be a number of reasons why he falls asleep. He could be tired ,especially if he has to get up early for work or maybe it's the type of movies you watch that he's not interested in.Try watching a movie that he likes next time and see what happens. It's like everything else ,some things get boring after a while.Try going out to a movie for a change in a Theatre. That's what we do.
