I recently saw The Forest which was pretty good! Also "the boy" is supposed to be coming out soon with Lauren Conrad, the woman who plays "Maggie" on the walking dead

It's been forever since I saw anything new, but horror is my genre. One of my fave older ones is The Descent b/c it's a rare all female cast. I kinda wanna see The Witch, looks suspenseful.

Don't see the witch, at least not in theaters! It wasn't scary and it was quite dumb to be honest!
I think the most recent horror movies that are good include: insidious movies, conjuring (conjuring 2 comes out June 10), annabelle, and the forest isn't too bad.
I feel like with the movie the boy it had an ending that was quite predictable which ruined the scare factor since I felt as though it had been done before.
Some not recent but good horror movies I think are the haunting in connecticut, psycho, the strangers, the grudge movies, amityville horror, the skeleton key scared me when I was younger, house of 1000 corpses (if you like gore), and of course as everyone has mentioned Stephen King movies (particularly Cujo), as well as my personal favourite serial killer horror movies (Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream etc.)
Sorry if this is really long, I reaaalllllyyyy like horror movies.

I just saw this the other night and really enjoyed it. It's a different take on the fairy/goblin genre of horrors
