The original with Bela Lugosi.
I was like 5 when I first saw it. I started slipping into the hallway in the middle of the night to put the bathroom light on. I would get my whole body under the blankets, thinking if no vampires could see me, they would think I wasn't there and go to the next window.
What a treat that was through to my pubescent years.

The original Exorcist! I don't even care how old that movie was when I saw it (I'm 21, and only saw maybe five years ago), it was straight up terrifying.

Most of the time when I watch old "horror" movies, they're pretty cheesy and not very scary, but whatever they did to this movie made it timeless. I was so freaked out. My mother always told me that when it came out, she was scared by it, but I always kind of laughed because I thought it was going to be cheesy. But I watched it with my friend and we were terrified, and then my mom scared us in the middle of the movie and I don't think my heartbeat slowed down for awhile.

"Saw" was the scariest movie I've seen. It's a psychological thriller. I couldn't sleep for a whole month after watching it. I'm not really into horror movies. One thing is for sure; I would never watch the Exorcist!

I have to admit that I love horror movies!! To me, they are the best. I actually try to watch 1 every night. One of the scariest was The Exorcism. Another was Jaws! That's the reason I won't learn to swim!! The other is The Texas Chainsaw Massacre! That movie was based on a true story that happened in the 60's, I believe. They never caught the people responsible. I loved all these movies, but they were scary!! Ginger

I seen the Texas Chainsaw Massacre it is suppose to be based on a true store your right. I watched the remake of Carrie but the original the other night with Sissy Spacek, Pipper Laurie and a very young John Travolta it was still very scary.
