There was a time when "fruit flavored" and "cheese flavored" meant "made
with real fruit" and "made with real cheese." Today? It's artificial
everything. Most of the food at your local supermarket is no more
authentic than Snooki's tan. Our fruit comes packaged in Loops, our
cheese delivered via Whiz. Sure, it's edible, but there's no way your
great grandparents would recognize this junk as food.

That's a good article, I don't eat fast food and don't want to eat these kind of junk additives in these foods, these are the FDA red flagged foods stuffs and what about people in the north of the border? Is there a more stricter food laws in Canada (where I live)?

Good read.If only these companies can tone it down a notch with all the crazy preservatives.In other countries certain Ingredients are BANNED that are still allowed in our foods and cosmetics.That surely says somethin.I'm not one to judge people or tell them what to eat, but I'm most definitely trying to avoid the fast foods and excess sweets, etc.I know it will be better for me in the long run.But everyone is free to do what they decide.

Thanks for sharing your link I am definitely going to read this article. This year I have been watching salt, sugar and fats in my diet. So this should be really informative but probably scary to see what we all put in our bodies.
