Best ones I have tried are by Arbour Mist, they are light and fruity and delish, around 6.99 or 7.99 and they are a very nice light wine to serve on any occasion, my latest favorite is their "white pear"

The Search Is Fun! on Oct 11, 2014 @ 09:35 am

I love the search for inexpensive great wines. Okay I'm spoiled and live in Ontario within a day daytrip to the Niagara wineries. I go tasting whenever I can- and my best cheap wine finds were at the vinyards with wines that I couldn't buy at the LCBO.
Red - Assemblage from Grange Winery (Prince Edward Country region) - What a great smooth sipper! We bought a couple of cases

White - I <3 riesling and Strewn Winery (Niagara on the Lake) has some great ones in this price range (some can be found in the LCBO general listing I think!)

LCBO - Years ago I picked up a Balbach Riverside Riesling (German) to try and it was so good (about $11/bttl) that we bought 2 cases of it and so did some friends!

The fun is all about the search!

My favorite cheap white wine is Naked Grape. It's about $10 for a bottle and tastes light and crispy. I highly recommend!

Wild Vines on Oct 22, 2014 @ 05:59 pm

Wild Vines is my favorite wine, I love the strawberry. Its inexpensive and fruity. I'm really picky with my wines. Always up to try new ones though. Arbor Mist is also a great wine.

Real Sangria on Oct 28, 2014 @ 10:25 pm

Is under $10 from Spain. It's fruity and is a good mixer with either sparking water or with a fruit beverage. Very tasy.

Amazing wine! Dry white with a slight carbonation. No matter the season I love making wine sangria. Must serve this wine chilled.
