Did you guys hear about this? Trevis Smith, a former CFL player is in court over not telling at least 2 sexual partners that he was infected with HIV.
His lawyer is arguing that he should NOT have to tell his partners about the HIV as long as he uses condoms. This really makes me angry. Everyone knows condoms are not 100% effective against STDs. He should have to tell them no matter what. What do you guys think?

I did hear of this on the news today... I think it someone's moral responsility to tell someone they are infected by HIV whether the sex is protected or not...let's face it condoms break yada yada yada...he should have told them since it can impact them for the rest of their lives!

I can appreciate that he's embarrassed and will probably have a hard time getting lucky if he's upfront about his situation, but the women in question have rights that are more important than whether he gets laid. sorry, no sympathy here.

So, he had unprotected sex with these women AFTER learning he had HIV. He was found guilty today in both cases. Good!
