November 11th; such a sad day for so many. I always wear a poppy and it bothers me when people don't wear it the right way. eg: on their hat. Out of respect, the only way it should be worn is on the left side of the chest.

I also wear my poppy proudly , my husband is military and my dad and father-in-law are veterans it also makes me mad to see people wear their poppy on their hats or random places ! Tons of men's and women's have sacrifice their life's for our beautiful country and to
Give us the freedom we have , the least people could do is show some respect and wear their poppy properly !
Lest we forget <3

Thanks for that lovely comment. So happy to know someone feels the same as I do.My dad fought for the country and survived Dieppe. You and I should be very proud of our family contributions to that cause.... and WE ARE

I've also seen people attaching the poppy to their schoolbags or hats and I don't think they really understand the meaning and history behind it. It's sad and disappointing that it's becoming more of a fashion accessory than a way to honor and remember those whom we've lost who were trying to keep us safe.
