L'Oreal and UNESCO- Hairdressers Against AIDS (HAA)

ChickAdvisor has been invited to participate in campaign to promote awareness about AIDS on World AIDS Day on December 1st. This partnership between L'Oreal and UNESCO is celebrating the 10th year anniversary of Hairdressers Against AIDS.

We'll be on hand to cover the event on the 1st which will bring together a number of bloggers to raise awareness. The slogan this year is "Use Your Voice, Use Your Power For A Beautiful World Without AIDS" and it aims to go viral by using twitter and youtube videos.

We've posted the video on our site over here and also links to the other videos in the campaign in the description.

It's a very important cause and one that I, personally didn't realise until now how many people it affected. Did you know that every single day, two new people are affected with HIV in Canada? We're so excited to be a part of this! More deets to follow (during and post- event).

alexjc	Husband who is HIV on Dec 05, 2011 @ 03:13 pm I just came across this article written by a woman whose husabnd is HIV It's definitely interesting and inspiring to hear how normal a life someone who is HIV lives and I find that is dispelled many of the myths I have heard and preconvinced notions I had.
