Post Cereal Give Away Ripe Off

Post Cereal advertised a free rebok T-shirt give away with the purchase of two specially marked boxes of post cereals. I purchased two boxes and entered their special codes and a message came up saying they ran out of the T-shirts so they where calling off the offer. The offer was to run till August 10, 2012, I tried to place the order May 12, 2012. I e-mailed the company and they replied that they can cancell a program at any time if they run out of the promo item and to try for the next offer when they have one.

To me this was just a big ripe off to get you to buy their cereal with no intent to supply their offer.

alexjc	@Anon on Jun 22, 2012 @ 10:08 am @KimmyKim is right unfortunately, it's kind of annoying but it is usually in the fine print that the offer lasts until a certain date or until they run out or it is written that they can cancel at any time.
