|Re: Saddam hanging on Nov 11, 2006 @ 01:49 am|
Saddam has done a lot of wrong things in his life and it's time karma paid him a visit. However I don't think that killing him will justify all the pain and suffering he has caused.
I would have suggested life in solitary confinement, without ever having eligibility for parole. Punishment where he will sit and ponder all the evil things he has done.
Than again, it is hard to fathom how such an evil person could ever feel remorse for their actions.
Perhaps this is the only for families of victims to feel some sort of closure.

Solitary confinement would be a much better much crueler punishment, which is what he deserves

I agree that putting Saddam in solitary and leaving him there for years and years would have been a more cruel punishment. Hanging him just makes him a martyr for his supporters. Not good.
