I'm glad that Harper is no longer PM. Trudeau has a lot of big ideas, and I hope that he will be able to make them happen. His father was a great man, and I hope JT is able to follow in his footsteps.

Trudeau wasn't who I voted for because I don't agree with some of his ideas.. Some are absolutely absurd but I hope he proves me wrong and that he can do great stuff for this country .

I love Justin Trudeau, he is already making changes and plans for our country. He's amazing and I am excited for him to bring change to Canada :)

I'm not a citizen yet and couldn't vote, but I'm fairly left leaning so I'm glad to see a big change coming to the country!

I hate to admit it. I did not vote for him only because of some of the changes he wants to make like privatizing hydro. But I really thought his father was a wonderful prime minster so I hope he does Canada proud and I wish him all the best. Hopefully it will make it better for the middle class and favor the Canadian people.

I didn't vote for him either, I'm still bitter about the whole Kathleen Wynne fiasco in Sudbury. I've also always been a staunch NDP supporter, but no one has had the charisma of the late Jack Layton. I believe if he was still alive, we'd likely have an NDP government right now.
That said...I believe Trudeau will do great things. I'm totally in his corner with legalizing pot. Think of the money it will save tax payers not to have to prosecute and jail weed dealers/smokers. They can tax the hell out of it and put the money back into our country. Look at Colorado...within 3 years they had a surplus, and that money went into schools and hospitals.
Hell...with my friends alone, the economy will end up showing a surplus :P

I am interested to see what he will do as our PM, but worry that he doesn't understand that western Canada and eastern Canada are not the same. I feel he will favour the east more so, and try to change the west. While Harper was great at keeping the balance between both. Speaking economically. Harper after all did study economy.

Not sure why.....

Not who i voted for, but he's got some great ideas and is a wonderful speaker. He is somewhat immature at times though. I also am concerned he will favor the East completely and the West will suffer. I hope he will see how different they are and utilize their resources for Canada's benefit and unite the country. He's got a lot on his plate. And I wish him luck.
