Do you guys have any self help / relationship / 'how to get over him and move on wtih your life' type books you'd recommend?
I know in several threads there were some books that were recommended but I figured if we had one thread we could look at for all the books, it'd be convenient :)
Right now I'm reading "Are you the one for me" by Barbara De Angelis. Its my first time reading it so not sure how good/bad it is. So far its okay... i'll let you know once i'm done :)

1. He's Just Not That Into You....great book, and helped me get over a breakup.
2. Why Men Marry Bitches...HILARIOUS read!! It's not really a book for breakups but gives you a fresh and keen perspective on relationships. From reading your previous posts, it sounds like you may need to up your bitch factor! Good luck with everything.
Hope that helps!

the same author who wrote "He's Just Not That Into You" also wrote a book called: It's Called a Break-Up Because it's Broken. I read it after my first major break-up. It helped me. Nothing profound or enlightening, just mostly common sense but it's stuff you need to hear at a time like that because our common sense tends to go out the window when we're emotional ;)

reading these books is a requirement not just to get over a breakup, but to get a better perspective. he's (behrendt) pretty candid in his answers, too. you'll realize that you have been making a lot of justifications for mens' actions in the past. it's also funny.

I realize this is late in the game to be responding, but you may like Deepak Chopra's
Path to Love as well.
