to me it seems like men and women were created on different planets!!!!why is it so hard for the two sexes to understand each other.sum1 just told me about a documentary that actually shows we are the same,but id beg to differ:)why is there this thin line of difference in men and women's logic and understanding?im puzzled : }

Pick up the book "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus". Seriously! It will clarify a few things, and basically goes from the joking premise that we are in fact from two different planets. Hugely generalizing of course, but still some good food for thought.

My whole life most of my friends have been guys rather than girls. I just seem to get along with them better than most other girls for some reason, so my circle of friends is made up of several guys and just one or two girls. But even with all the time I've spent hanging out with them and being "just one of the guys".... I still don't get 'em sometimes. They say and do things sometimes that all I can do is shake my head or roll my eyes at them.
To be fair though, guys have just as much trouble understanding us women. There's equal confusion among the sexes when it comes to understanding each other. LOL

I think generally guys can get along with most guys as long as there is no conflicts of interest. I don't know about girls. I get along with my girl friends, at least i think i get along with them, because I think of them as my sister and try to treat them like a sister. I have no clue how to interact with girl that I like though. I think what i just said doesnt really fit the topic haha.
Anyway i think guys and girls are different for sure, since you don't see a La Senza (underwear shop) for men. Men generally don't care about the colour of their underwear as long as they are not pink.
I just watched a short news story that talk about men and women use different parts of the brain when they make a record of things that happened.
One thing that drive me nuts is why the selection of sex toys for women are much more than men when the reproductive organ for men require them to exercise that organ much more than women.
Anyway thats just my two cents.

gahh men and women are just blatantly different when it comes to sooo many things. altho goals and ideals for both genders may not differ significantly, i think that how we think and what we value and perceive differs greatly. i think that like some of the past posts said is true--that it's not what we think/want that is different.. but how we process that information and what we do with it that makes us different.
