I have to admit, it was very disturbing. What's even more disturbing is knowing that HE is not the only guy out there with such crazy sh*t going on in their heads.
I do have to question, though, if reporting him to the police is going to be at all effective. It wouldn't surprise me if he lets that stew in his little noggin as well, and then takes out yet more anger on the women/girls he meets. Then again, it's not like you could report him elsewhere, really. Can't ask the men in the white coats to put him in a straight jacket and lock him up.
Difficult situation.......but yes, it was disturbing. I didn't find it so much offensive as truly scary knowing that yet another guy like that is out there. Reminded me of my ex husband, psycho. And from the sounds of it, this guy was still a high school kid. If he's already got that attitude and hatred towards women, what kind of misery, violence and damage will he be spreading around for the rest of his life?
|Thank you Chick Advisor on May 23, 2010 @ 03:34 pm|
Thank you, Ali, for reporting that individual to the police. Your act is a reminder to everyone that police welcome non-emergency calls like this, because reporting allows the police to maintain a database of people who have caused this type of concern either via the internet or "in real life". Cowards hide behind the anonymity provided by the internet, which is becoming an increasing worry as to whether these people are "having fun" or have darker intentions.
Information enables police to measure the resources required to dedicate to the areas in need (ie. cyber stalking, predators, threats, etc).
Well done, Chick Advisor!
