Hey chicks!! :) Anyone know why sometimes I get little bubbles in my nail polish? I always use a base coat, two coats of polish, and a top coat, and I usually (or try to!) let each coat dry in between. I usually file and buff before application, so I'm kinda baffled. Any help would be appreciated! :)

I used to have this problem, but then i found out my top coat had gotten pretty old so I bought a new one and that solved the problem. I also heard that in stead of shaking your polish you cold just roll it back and forth between your hands and that should eliminate bubbles.
Hope that helped

Are you shaking it? I had my nails done at a salon once, and the girl told me there was a proper way to "shake" nail polish, to help avoid it getting air bubbles.. Not sure if that might be the case for you. I also agree with Jo999 - It could also be an older product you're using!

Thanks ladies! I do shake the polish sometimes, so I'll try rolling it next time. I don't think my top coat is more then a few months old, but I'll re-up and see if that helps as well. Thanks for any tips! :)

Hi there! Bubbles can also occur in your nail polish if the layer you are applying is too thick. Make sure you take the excess off the brush with the side of the bottle and try to complete each nail within 3 strokes!
