I hung out with this really cute guy a few times with my friend and one night we all went out for drinks and i had a great time with him. we ended up sharing a few kisses at the end of the night before we went home. After that night we both told our friend that we liked each other. The next day, we hung out for lunch, he put his arm around me and said he liked me when we were talking but afterwards, while we were talking, i got SO nevous because i just really liked this guy and i ended up asking him really dumb questions like " What kind of smells do you like....like do you like the sound of rain?" it was so stupid, i felt like an complete idiot..anyhow i found out that he told a friend of mine that i was asking weird questions and that he was trying not to laugh at me... so i felt like even more of a joke...but then the friend that went out with us for drinks told me she thought he really liked me..and still does..i haven't seen him for awhile, and i don't want to seem like im becoming crazy/desperate/ too attached to this guy but i want to know if he still likes me cause i like him and would love for us to hangout again so i can redeem myself but don't know what to do or say about my stupid random questions? Should i just leave it and wait for him to make the move? I most likely will be going to my friend's place this upcoming week again and it will be very likely for him to be there so..o just need to know what i should do because i don't want to blow my shot.

Really you have two options - to either pretend it never happened and start fresh, or make a joke about it and get on with the program. I think if you try to tell him why you were acting that way or otherwise attempt to explain yourself, it will not help. It will only increase your embarrassment.
I would say just try to be yourself when you see him and act natural. If the question comes up, just make a joke about it and try to leave it at that. However, try to avoid talking yourself down. If you make a crack about being a ditzy blonde (if you are a blonde), that will only demean yourself.

I think you should just continue to act natural. If asking interesting and thought provoking questions is simply who you are, why try to change that just to fit his mold of what is normal and what is weird? If he thinks how you behaved was strange, chances are there will be other areas where you don't mesh.
Keep being yourself. If he really does take an interest in you, your silliness and quirkiness are going to grow on him and become adoring features. If that doesn't come to fruition, you're better off. Point is, don't adjust your personality just so you match his mold of what is "normal".
