Take a test on Aug 04, 2014 @ 01:18 pm

While it is unlikely, there is a chance you could be pregnant. Stress is probably causing a delay in your period, but why not take a test to make sure? BTW, dollar store tests are as effective as any.

You might be, but to make sure you need to have a pregnancy test. Or you can go to a doctor to be extra sure. Take care!

Don't stress! on Aug 05, 2014 @ 11:55 am

It's unlikely, but still possible. Any number of things can cause you to miss a period, so don't worry too much! Try to stay calm, as much as you can, because added stress can, and will, make any situation worse. Like the others have said, take a pregnancy test. It's really the only way for you to know for sure. You can get them practically anywhere, and a good one will usually cost around 15$. I've also heard that dollar store tests are just a accurate, however this is really not an area where I'd want to save a couple of bucks and risk it not being accurate.

Why does everyone ask about pregnancy on here? If you have sex, you can get pregnant. If you miss your period, go see your doctor. A blood test is the way to tell for sure- not a home pregnancy test.

I know my reply is late but here it is:

No matter what you CAN always get pregnant. Just because you used a condom and it didn't break doesn't mean shit. Even if one sperm cell got in (which by the way there are millions of sperm cells in ejaculations), you have a possibility of becoming pregnant.

Anything you do to prevent pregnancy is NOT 100% effective. There is always a chance.

I would suggest to take a test to be sure. The only test to tell for sure if you're pregnant is a blood test. Even if you are not pregnant, it is good to see your doctor to make sure that you have the right protection (even if it is not totally effective, birth control and condoms are ore effective than just condoms) so that this incident doesn't happen again.

I would go to your Dr or a clinic, hopefully your period is just late.
