I don't belong. I have a stationary bike and a Gazelle should be doing something but no interest ..
Planet Fitness on Jan 16, 2016 @ 07:33 pm
I checked out the Fit4Less in my area, and the actual gym itself seemed pretty great! However, it was jam-packed with twenty-somethings who were gossiping among one another, and there were line-ups of around six people at every machine and resource. Plus, our location is inside of a Loblaw's... kinda weirded me out!
Planet Fitness has the same pricing as Fit4Less, 10$ a month with 1$ down! I am trying it out with a co-worker next week. (And everything is purple, which is awesome!) They claim to be a "judgement free zone"... we shall see.
I envy you being able to go to a Fit4Less!
World Gym on Jan 16, 2016 @ 07:35 pm
I joined the World Gym. Regular Membership is $10/month, but the Elite was $20. Allowed me to bring someone with me every time I came in, unlimited classes, unlimited hydrotherapy bed, unlimited tanning booth.

What!? Those are crazy good prices for gym memberships. None of those gyms are near me. :'(
Id love to join a gym to tone up but to keep active in the summer time I run everyday and in the winter I use an elipticle.
Great prices on Jan 19, 2016 @ 05:05 pm
Wow! Those are really really good prices for a gym membership. The ones I have always been a part of are $50-60 a month...
I definitely wish I had some better options in my area! I think the closest Fit4Less is still pretty far away unfortunately.

I wish I had a gym that cheap around here. I just buy exercise dvds and never have to worry about line ups or anything!
My Living room on Jan 20, 2016 @ 09:01 am
Our basement living room is my gym.
I do the Beachbody workouts (hip Hop Abs and Brazil Beach Bum hybrid currently), and love it.
When I go, my gym experience lasts less than an hour, I don't have to go to a locker room or get in the car/walk/bike anywhere. I have my equipment all ready to go, and upgrade as required.
I was a gym rat for many years, and never saw the results I do with my at home beachbody gym.
I am not a coach (I think that's kind of silly as anyone can be a coach), I have just had great results from these programs.
I even get to work out with the dogs this way :)
