I swithed to Yaz sometime ago because the previous low dose pill I was on caused spotting between periods.
I have had no such issues on Yaz and have nothing negative to say about.
I use the 28 day pack. Take a pill everyday and forget about it, no side effects or anything. |

I recently switched to yaz, maybe 6-7 months ago. Before yaz I was on Yasmin. I like Yaz ok. It does the job. My only complaint is that yaz is not very forgiving if you miss a pill. W/ Yasmin and Ortho-Tricyclen, if I missed a pill, I never spotted. Furthermore, I would have to mis 3-4 pills before my period would begin. W/ Yaz, if I miss 1 pill I spot. If I miss 2 pills, my period starts.
If you're good at never forgetting your pill, Yaz should be just fine for you. But if you forget, even occasionally, Yaz may not be right for you. |

Hi, I have just started Yaz and am on day 4. I have been reading a lot of bad feed back about this pill as well. I was first on Alesse but couldnt find it over seas so I switched to yasmine. When i came back i switched back to Alesse and experienced severe cramping for 3 - 4 days. Which is the reason for yet another switch and confusion to my poor body. If anyone could write us back with their experiences that would be great. |

I used it in the past and it was great. No issues whatsoever didn't even affect my libido as some other pills have. |

Hey I wrote before when I was on day 4 - now I am finished my pack and am now on Sugar Pill 3/4. I am yet to have any start of a period - no spotting - nothing! My Fiancee works over seas and this month there has been NO sex so I know I am not pregnant. Has anyone experienced this? Should I be concerned?

My obgyn said its quite common for women taking Yaz to often have no
periods at all since there are fewer sugar pills than most other bc
pills. On Yaz my periods have been shortened and are lighter. On top
of that, they start later, maybe day 4 of 4 on the placebo pill, and
the period may last into day 2 of the next pill packet. |

I experienced the same thing as Spotty. I missed it once and i was spotting. I missed it twice and I got my period! after my period I started taking it again, and 3 days in to the new pack I forgot it twice in a row again and I got my period within a week from my last one. If you forget like I do, this is not for you. Its not fun getting your period twice within a weeks time difference. Thanks for your commenting on this Spotty, I was beginning to worry I might be the only one with this problem. Good luck girls! I'm going back to tricyclinglow (or whatever its called). |

I love YAZ! I miss the clear skin, no PMS, being super regular! I had an alarm set on my phone that rang just before I left for work so I'd remember to take it every day. I only stopped using YAZ because I ran out and we wanted to try and get pregnant. So far no luck so I'm stuck suffering PMS :( |
