Have any of you tried to look into your ancestry? I did before Xmas and I found out so much and had access to such old documents etc. So interesting for sure.

I have and it was very cool.. I now hove info all the way back to the early 1600s

Kristine It's easy. Just type in Toronto Archives and request assistance.You sen names, cities, countries etc. you're sent back birth, marriage, death certificates, names of ancestor's siblings even. Well worth the try.

My maternal family has a wonderful set of diaries from approximately 1700 onward. It's fascinating!

I tried but it kept giving me false information that didn't connect to any real relatives I had. it was like it just gave me a list of everyone who's ever had my last name, it didn't actually listen to the leads and family members I put in
