These days time is limited, and it seems like the most convenient way to keep in touch with someone is online! Internet based match making services like eHarmony.ca and match.ca are boasting that an increasing number of long term relationships are made via the world wide web. How many of you would considering online dating an option to 'meet' the love of your life?
Do we have or know of any success stories? Please share!

I know quite a few couples close me that had successful online dating stories :)
One of my best friends found someone online and they were married 2 years ago. It was such a happy event! It was long distance and they had to spend tons on phone calls but in the end it was worth it :) I'm so happy for them!
I know 2 other couples that are together and happy :)
But You have to be so careful online, what you post on there, and making sure the person on the other side isn't a 67 year old stalker...

One of my best friend's met the love of her life online. They 'online' dated for a while, and ultimately got married!!
They are terribly happy and the proud parents of 2 beautiful children, and they lived...
Happily ever after :-)

I think as long as you understand the benefits and possible pitfalls of online dating, there's no reason you can't have a wonderful experience and maybe even meet The One. It's an incorrect generalization that only those who "can't otherwise get a date" try online match-ups. Oftentimes it really is a question of convenience for busy people and the safety of corresponding without meeting face to face. You can meet just as many creeps offline if you look in the right (er, wrong) places!
