i would say it when i felt it ... i know some guys run when they hear that word... but are they worth it anyways if they are like that!!!

I think too many people say I Love you and don't really mean it,that phrase gets thrown around way too much, I personally never said it until I met my husband

I agree. That is why I don't say it unless I really mean it. It's always the elephant in the room though when one person does and the other doesn't. I've never been in that situation cause I never say it first But I bet it must suck

I used to say it first and probably freak guys out...later on, I learned just to wait for the guy to say it first, therefore he's not going to run LOL.
My husband said it first about 4 months after we started dating in his kitchen. I'm pretty sure I said it right after that ;)

Say it once you feel it, and only if you mean it. With the right person, there is no right time.
|I'm just gonna wait even though I want to blurt it out on Jan 21, 2016 @ 02:11 pm|
I have always said "I love you" first and turned out that they never loved me back. One replied by laughing, and the other replied saying he was just joking around with me. I said it to my very first boyfriend, and it turned out it wasn't real. So now I thought it might be a curse for me to say it so i'm waiting for my boyfriend now to say it first. We've been together for only 4 months now and instead of actually saying "I love you" we say "All-of-you or olive juice or elephant shoes." He said he wants to say it in a very special way, so i'm hoping for it.
However, according to science and statistics... 5 months is the average time to say those words to your lover.

I learned to wait. I still remember how shocked I was to hear it from one of my ex's, after several months of dating.... I did not expect him to ever say it....and he did. And even though I loved him too for some reason I had a hard time saying it back - I think it was really because I just never expected it to hear it from him!
And of course I remember when my now hubby said it...and with him, I had no problem saying the same :)

I hate it when they say it and you can't wait to run away lol
|I agree with you! on Jan 25, 2016 @ 05:34 pm|
I don't say it to anyone except my parents on occasion! it makes me super uncomfortable for some reason. I have been with my boyfriend for quite a while now and hes uncomfortable with saying it too so it makes me feel better haha. I think that saying the words "i love you" are important, but feeling loved by how I am being treated by him.. is a lot more reassuring than just words. If that makes sense

I don't think it matters who actually says it first. If you feel you are truly in love, speak up; no harm done. What's the worse that can happen? If it's a fact, it's a fact and I think any man would be flattered quite honestly.
