My college has a Facebook page for messages of secret admiration, anything from: "girl I saw on the bus earlier, you're pretty" to "I have always loved you and always will" kind of stuff.
Overall I have noticed around campus little things change, like girls (including me) are dressing up a little bit more to get noticed, and more guys are holding doors open, and everyone's smiling a bit more.
Anyway, what's your opinion on it? Do you think this is the future of dating, or a just bad idea? Would you tell your crush you liked them if you had this opportunity?

Much like missed connections, this just seems like a nice way for wallflower types to send a compliment or good thought to the object of their affection. I really can't see this becoming a successful norm, since most the time the descriptions given aren't really enough to identify or find the person writing about you (that is, if you even recognize yourself in one of the posts).
Secret admirer messages are cute and give me the fuzzies, but I'll always find direct approaches more effective than spilling your guts online and hoping the person you like reads it.
