I am having a hard time thinking about sending my 12 year old to bootcamp.
At this point I have no choice, as he gives me no alternative to his behavior.
How would you deal with this?
I try to think positive but I think maybe I feel guilty for spoiling him when I left his abusive father.
Anyone been through this? How did you deal with it?
Thanks in advance for any advice. :)

I personally think there is no harm in teaching your child some discipline. There are children growing up absolutely spoiled and don't know responsibility or respect. Not saying your child is that bad, but sometimes showing your child what the world is truly like early on is great for their future. If not, try putting your child in competitive sports. Children need to learn competitiveness in order to succeed in life. It will also keep your child occupied instead of getting into trouble.
