yesterday was shopoholic girls night with the ladies here ....... and it was awesome!!! :) the movie was definately funny but i have to say, it didn't do justice to the book.
However the night with the girls was amazing, i got to actually meet many of you! Marayna... when you said side sweapt bangs i was thinking about this pic :) i'm so glad to have met you!! all of you!!! :) and i CAN'T WAIT until the next get together. i hope its the shopping expedition!! :-)
now here's another thing to be happy about, the future shopping expedition is the motivating kick in the butt i need to shed the extra 'comfort layers' i acquired over the last few months.. i don't want to be trying on clothes and parading about in my choices thinking that my comfort-layers are showing too comfortably..! lol
another good thing from me is that i took today off (actually this vacation day was a carry over from last year so either i take it or lose it) and dedicated it to studying :) so today is my study / catch up day! ummm.... i've not exactly started the studying or catch up part yet, but i will :) |

Yesterday was my positive thing too. I love meeting you guys! Becky, I'm not sure what layers you are referring to that you think need shedding... you looked great to me!
There were a few familiar faces, but many of you this was your first ChickAdvisor event and it was so fun to have you there.

I am *very* happy right now and i wanted to share it with you ladies :-)
I have a very big assignment that is due this coming thursday. Its a programming assignment where i have to build a program that does a certain task.. I was really struggling with it!! i thought i couldn't do it.. i emailed, text messged, and asked random people in school and work, seeking help for this class because i was convinced that i couldn't do this assignment... and guess what? last night, without any help (no one i knew, knew this programming language) i was able to complete this assignment..!!! oh man i am soooooooooooooooo excited!!! :) i can't believe i completed it!! haha i feel delliriously happy.. lol ok ok i know i sound wierd... but still ... hehe :-D
Sooooo i'm done all my assignments, I've already handed in 4 last week and have that *one* to hand in this coming thursday. And this week I have 3 midterms - monday, wednesday and thursday. I took wednesday and thursday off from work just so i can study... hopefully i'll do good!! anyways i really should be studying, but ....well this is just more fun lol... anyways off i go (i hope!) .. bye bye chickies :-) |

It's a great feeling of accomplishment to finish a tough assignment. I always felt a little rush when I handed in something tough :)
My happy thing right now is my husband.
I've been fighting strep this weekend and so he has been pampering me more than usual. He went to the market yesterday and stocked up on fresh ingredients and so far has made me a delicious pasta, banana chocolate chip muffins from scratch and eggs bennie this morning. Pretty sweet!! |

sooo typical of my luck... :-p if there are any good guys out there, they're usually in relationships or so into another girl that the potential *good guy* becomes a *bad guy* for me... sigh!! oh well...
so i just finished making notes for my wednesdays midterm, and gearing up to make notes for my monday and thursday's exam.. i'm such a list person!! On friday evening, I made a "study list" of what i'm going to accomplish on each day and so far i've pretty much stuck to it.. of course when I wrote "Saturday: Finish notes on Wed Midterm" i meant spend entire saturday studying for and making notes and reviewing on the contents for Wednesdays midterm..and of course i didn't do that. rather i woke up late, sat around and girl talked with mom until 4pm and very slowly made my way to sit in front of the PC...considering all that, i am sticking to the schedule.. so far! :) yay so thats another good thing for me today... :-)
i'm hungry....mmmm banana chocolate chip muffin.... egg bennie..mmmm....... *drool* ..... Ali ur one lucky chick ... sigh ... :( |

and a little voice inside me says "for now...." ...but i'm choosing to ignore it and enjoy the now while its here!!
I'm going to hang out at the malls today. My aim is to get a hip/waist bag. I don't know if they're gonna be "in" this summer, but i love the look so i wannit. I saw a really nice Guess hipbag near my work but I didn't buy it cuz I want to look around a bit more. We'll see what happens :)
Whether i get something or not, a refreshing day walking at the mall is exactly what I need to shake off the study induced headache I have... |

Yesterday was my birthday... 25 again.... I'll get it right one of these years! :) My party was at an Irish pub I really like and a lot of my very good friends were there. Some I haven't seen in years! I had a great day, great birthday and great evening. And today... i'm not even hung over!!!???? I'm totally surprised, cuz I had a bit too much! And better than all of that!!!.... I met someone!! :) He is awesome! Funny, intelligent, cute.... I can't stop thinking about him!
