Make sure you're not touching your face and clean your phone- that's where it sits on your face. Put coconut oil on your chin before bedtime.

Toner on Sep 17, 2014 @ 04:06 pm

Try using a toner after you cleanse and before you moisturize - it has made a big difference in my face.

I found a huge difference cleaning my phone and trying not to touch my face. Also, ensure you are moisturizing after exfoliating and definitely moisturize before bed- that's when the skin dries out and absorbs the most

Something to try... on Oct 26, 2014 @ 11:42 am

I was in the Aesthetics program and I had to learn different skin types. Now I am a pure oily skin tpe and I was given a specific kit to use on my face, but you seem to be a mixed skin type since your chin is dry. I would suggest that you actually go in to a local spa and have a consultation about your face. As an Esthetician can tell you better what you should be using on your skin.

Jojoba oil! on Oct 28, 2014 @ 03:31 pm

Seriously. Moisturize with Jojoba oil. It's very similar to the skins natural sebum, so its very moisturizing and regulates oil production. You'll be amazed! My face was a constant oil slick before trying this stuff.

i can help on Nov 09, 2014 @ 04:10 am

actually im an esthetician licensed n all . forst of all you need to make sure your using the right products on your skin , a dirty cell phone wouldnt give u oily skin it would make u break out but have no effect on the sebum you produce so as its a good idea to clean whatever touvches your face it is not the culprit . sometimes oily skin is just genetic , you need to start treating your face like a babys bottom in that i mean with extreme tender care , no scrubbing no mitts no exfoliators and that includes on your chin . you need to get a cleanser for sensitive skin not oily not dry but sensitive . preferable from dr hauschka or dermalogica as they have the best products but are very expensive . the reason for choosing sensitive is because i believe your skin is going through some changes probably from hormones or stress and we dont want to be messing around with 2 different types of cleansers , sensitive is perfect for all skin types as well . you will wash your face once a day unless you exercise or do something that would really dirty it up like biking or football . when you wash use your hands and rub gently with 2 fingers dont forget your neck then rinse . after use a gentle toner preferably spray on . then moisturize. do not touch your face or pick or scrub . do this for a month you should see results in a week or two . this is as much help as i can give you without seeing you in person i hope it helps .

thank you on Nov 09, 2014 @ 08:16 am

Thank you for your help ladies. The toner seemed to make it worse so I going to try the sensitive skin wash now. I wash my face with a loreal cleanser in the the morning and then aveno moisturizer. I do wear makeup during the day I work in a jewellery store. I wash my face again after work and use an exfoliater and then aveno again and a night cream under my eyes.
