Since we were talking about kissing in high school, I thought I would start a thread! Do you still remember your first kiss? Was it good? Or sloppy and awkward?
I was 15 and dating a really cute guy. He took a long time to kiss me, and I was getting impatient! I really wanted it to happen, and so many times almost kissed him. I had butterflies for weeks! Then a bunch of my friends came to my place for the weekend, and we all went to the beach. Afterwards we all hung out my place in my room. When no one was looking I kissed him! You would think a guy that is older and perhaps kissed other girls wouldn't be so shy! He seemed so cool and yet took forever, so I took my first kiss! There is something satisfying about being in charge and going after what you want, and getting it!
And yes, it was a nice kiss :)

My first kiss was also at 15. It was someone I ended up dating for 2 1/2 years who I really loved. It was after we went out on our first date. He was dropping me off at home in his old beat up truck and kissed me outside on my drive way under the stars. It was so sweet.
After that relationship, my other first kisses were mixed. Some were terrible, others were nice. One guy kissed like a fish with his mouth puckered. He was 19 and so was I. It was his first kiss. He was a really good looking guy who I really liked until that horrible kiss. He puckered his lips like a fish and pushed hard against my mouth. It was really uncomfortable. Then he pushed harder and harder. I guess he thought that was passion. I was really turned off and promptly gave him the let's just be friends speech.
By the way, some free advice for anyone looking for their first kiss. Don't think too hard about it. The more you over think it, the less natural it will be. Just don't breathe through your mouth. Breathe through your nose. Trust.

HAHAHAH my first kiss was in grade 10... in a movie...he missed and kissed my eye! ...I then looked at him confused and he said 'that was our first kiss' ... he was all sappy and it was one of those first moments I remember being a cynic because in my head I was like ' umm, no, it wasn't!' but I just smiled and said nothing. Our first kiss kiss was obviously shortly thereafter...in the light...where he did not mistake my eye for my mouth. AAAAAAAAH HHAHHAHAH!

Mine was when I was 17 in my frosh year in University, with my present boyfriend. :) It was about two weeks after we started dating, and we were hanging out by the lockers in school. I know, I know. University lockers? They don't call it Rye High for nothing.
We were just talking and then all of a sudden I see his face coming towards mine, and my first thought was "Oh my god, I should close my eyes!" We kept getting rudely interrupted by students walking in and out of the room, so we walked to a nearby indoor botanical garden to continue. To make it even worse, I forgot that I was chewing gum while kissing him. He went on to tell me that it will be much better if I stop chewing. HAHAHA! I spat it out right after. Despite my total awkwardness, our kiss was totally romantic! :P

My first kiss was early in HS after the Homecoming dance. I "dated" (if you want to call it that ... we lasted a whole 3 weeks and neither of us could drive yet) a few weeks before the dance, so I guess we thought it was appropriate to kiss when I got dropped off (by somebody's mom). It was awkward and wet and slobbery and messy. Not a fond memory. We were pretty much "done" after that dance.
But it didn't jade me! I've moved on and have met some marvelous kissers :-)

I was 15, and he was my first official boyfriend. I had hyped up the whole thing in my mind so much, that by the time I actually got my first kiss and didn't see stars and fireworks I was disappointed. It was very sweet and all, but I realized very soon after this that I didn't like the guy enough to lead him on and broke things off.
The next guy I kissed was my husband. He lay one on me just like in the movies, and a french kiss right away! I must say, though, I did get some serious fireworks that time! And the rest, as they say, is history....

I was 14 and so excited to have my first boyfriend. He lived in a different town but wasn't too far from where I lived at the time so we did get to spend a decent amount of time together. One night he called and asked if I could meet him at McDonald's because he was in my town helping his dad work on a friend's house; painting and such. So my mom drove me up and she waited in the car while we sat inside McDonald's talking for a while. When he had to go back, we drove him to drop him off and he asked my mom to stop down the road a bit from the house he was helping his dad with and said he'd walk the rest of the way. I got out of the car to say bye to him and we talked a while longer while mom was surely watching like a hawk in the rear view. We hugged and he held on for the longest time and when he did finally let go I looked up at him and started to say bye when he kissed me. Just the softest, sweetest little kiss that probably only lasted a second but felt like it lasted forever (and at the same time ended way too soon!) and I didn't quite know what to make of it; I just stood there stunned for a minute and stumbled back to the car so giddy I could hardly sit still the couple minutes it took to get home.
I'm glad my first kiss was such a good, sweet experience - that's a memory that always makes me smile. =)

Nessie, you are a "femme devoreuse" as the French say about Carla Bruni, a man-eater, way to go and get your first kiss, my first kiss wasn't on the lips!!!!! those are the best because then there's no chance of bad breath

Nah... those are for Granny. There is nothing better than a kiss on the lips or with the right amount of tongue. Note: shoving down one's throat, drooling or leaving it in there too long = a very bad kiss.
A guy should know how to kiss and practice the appropriate hygiene (floss, brush and mouthwash). Sounds weird but I've always noticed gums and teeth. Back in my single days if I noticed that a guy had bad gums/visible plaque build up the conversation would end there. Bad breath happens to everyone and can be dealt with (depending on the level of severity) but bad oral care is unforgivable.

That first kiss is my forth year in Western. I think it was my second time we meet as 'bf/gf'. It was all good to me as she was my first girl. So I couldn't complain haha. Oh yeah, Unlike you girls. I was 21.
