I feel like most often dreams don't hold any significant value BUT I do think sometimes they do. Once I had a very disturbing dream about being in a vehicle with my husband and siblings, with my dad(who is a reckless driver) behind the wheel. I dreamt that he crashed us all into the river and I woke up as the car was filling with water. I called one of my brothers the next day and told him about my dream and he told me he had the exact same dream the same night as me. I took it as a warning and have never gotten into a vehicle with him driving ever again.

I have been looking in to dream-reading, interpretation, and analysis for years! It was one of the very first ideals that brought me to love psychology and sociology. It's so interesting, and I LOVE the puzzle of it all.
I keep a dream journal that I update every time I wake up from sleep where I have had a dream. Reflecting on the entries helps me understand myself better and approach situations more effectively in real life!
Here are a few forums and resources for anybody interested in dream interpretation:

I found it so unsettling that we had the same dream on the same night, that I couldn't just dismiss it as a weird coincidence.
RaeBlair, that sounds really interesting!
|Remembering Your Dreams is Normal? on Apr 05, 2016 @ 05:52 pm|
I don't remember the majority of my dreams. In other words, it's rare when I remember my dreams. Is this normal?

I think dreams have meanings!
Your mind conjures up all sorts of things.
I used to have dreams about my teeth falling out.
Different ways but same results.
Creepy right?!?! So I looked it up.
Sure enough.. says I am self conscious. Haha
certainly true to some degree.

My boyfriend doesn't remember his dreams, either, jmca. I think it happens because he typically either sleeps very lightly and doesn't reach REM sleep, or extremely heavy in REM sleep. It's totally normal.
Either he might not be dreaming, or may be too deep in a dream to recall it when he wakes up. Lol.
He does remember some, though! I think that sucks, honestly. I love remembering my dreams. Sometimes they are hilarious.

I hate dreaming that my teeth are falling out! Stephs.fav.stuff, I've also had dreams where my mouth is full of something (sand, or something else equally gross and gritty) so that I can't speak. Same thing - self-conscious, anxious, or feeling that your opinion is being suppressed or if you afraid to speak out about something.
