Good morning Chicks,I am not sure but I think I've asked this question before, has anyone got any ideas on what to try for Brittle Nailes?I have tried all the Sally Hansen products for chip and Brittle Nails but none of it worked.I take my time and do my nails to make them look nice,Half hour later,I either got a chipped nail or the Polish came off, even though I wear a under and top coat.Any tips would be great.Thanks.

Stop using products! on May 22, 2015 @ 11:39 am

A 100% natural way to strengthen nails is by eating peanuts. Keep cutting them back, and like hair, the more you cut it the stronger it gets.

Hi. My mom has had bad nails her whole life. A couple of months ago she started using Burts Bees cuticle cream and her nails have started to repair themselves and they look really good. It's only $10 or even less at London Drugs. Worth a try!

I have had this problem since the age of 14 when my thyroid problems started. So for me yhis problem cannot be solved. I wear fake nails when i need to be fancy for an occasion and i just dont let them get too long if i let them grow. I hate it, but it is what it is.

Completely agree with fredamans! Stop using products completely to let your nails breathe and ensure they are always filed down so they don't get too long and break. My nails used to be brittle but now, they are the strongest they've ever been.

Take a breather and use almond oil or coconut oil and use supplements like silica or benefits of Martin & Pleasance Schuessler Tissue Salts to addressed weak nails

Nail BB cream! on Jul 14, 2015 @ 05:32 pm

Natural oils tend to help, or soaking them in green tea

or i usually take vitamins everyday (because damaged nails can indicate that you are lacking something!), and i also use a product called "Quo by ORLY BB Cream" it is a BB cream made for your nails
wearing a lot of nail polish makes my nails break and peel and turn yellow, so i apply a couple coats of this and leave in on for a week or so or until i want to apply more nail polish and it makes my nails stronger and whiter
i recommend it! its pretty cheap and can be found at drugstores!
