I am pretty sure a person can be accomodated on any of these ship liners and they would receive very nice treatment, I'm positive. I had an uncle from England years ago that came over and he was in a wheelchair and his trip was a good experience for him as I remember. I definitely would call around and check into it, but I'm positive you will be happy with the answers you will get, because this is not a novel situation at all. Have fun

I spoke with carnival yesterday and i was not happy with my answers. Some ports they are not able to gwt off the ship because they are water taxied into the island and there are steps down from the ship to water taxie. That will not work.. Also none of the pools on any carnival ship have a lift and balcony rooms are not wheelchair accessible. Transportation arrangemnts at ports have to me made during the cruise... As most iland transportation is not wheelchair accessible and by law does not have to be.. I am just wondering if other cruise line are more accomadating...

That doesn't sound good. You will have to check around before booking.
